DESCRIPTION:\nJoin Kelly Gardner, Director of Retirement Plan Services and Tim Hollinger a Plan Consultant with SouthState to see how financial professionals can look at traditional retirement plans such as 401Ks and 403bs that don’t always address the needs of the key and high-income employees of an organization and how various plans can complement what they may have in place.  Using alternative plan designs, an organization with the help of a financial professional can design a retirement program that benefits all employees (think attorney practices and smaller businesses).  The discussion will focus on three of those designs:  Cash Balances Plans, Nonqualified Deferred Comp Plans and Employee Stock Ownership. We will discuss how these can pair with a traditional plan. This program should help a number of council members understand potential options for either their own plans, or plans of their clients.\n
